For PR and communications agencies
Your client needs Analyst Relations. Bring in the specialist.
Kea works with agencies that want to offer credible Analyst Relations without building a full AR practice. You keep the client relationship and the wider communications strategy. We agree where our specialist work fits.

The point of partnership
One client story. Different audiences. Clear ownership.
You know the client, their reputation and the communications programme. We bring the analyst landscape, research discipline and experience of turning product and customer evidence into useful analyst conversations. The work should reinforce the same facts while respecting how each audience forms its view.
Know where to focus.
Map analysts and research against the client’s technology, buyers and markets. A familiar firm name alone is not a strategy.
Prepare substance.
Pressure-test positioning, briefing material and customer evidence so analysts can assess the business on its merits.
Close the loop.
Coordinate relevant briefings and research opportunities, capture what analysts say and follow through with the client team.
How the relationship works
Your agency stays in charge of its client.
We agree the scope, contacts, approvals, confidentiality and commercial terms before work begins. There is no automatic hand-off of the relationship to Kea.
Analyst conversations are conducted openly on the vendor’s behalf. The commercial arrangement behind the work can be discreet; the identity and purpose of an analyst briefing should be clear.
Kea researches the landscape, reviews the narrative, prepares materials or advises your team. You handle agreed client communications.
We join the relevant working sessions or analyst interactions as the AR specialist, while your agency leads the wider account.
Kea runs an agreed briefing or research programme with named responsibilities, reporting and approval routes. Your agency remains the client’s strategic partner.
When to bring us in
Usually before the research deadline becomes urgent.
A client asks which analysts matter. A new category or enterprise market requires a stronger story. A major evaluation is approaching, or a briefing programme has become a calendar without a clear outcome.
We can start with a defined question or a short initial phase. If the client needs sustained engagement, we will say so. We will also say when Analyst Relations is premature or the existing agency team already has the right capability.
A working AR foundation.
Understand the client’s aims and evidence; map the relevant analysts and research; agree priorities and responsibilities; prepare and begin purposeful engagement. The sequence and volume depend on the market and the client’s readiness. It is a scope to define together, not a promise of report inclusion.
Practical questions
What agencies need to know.
Can the work be white-labelled?
Client-facing materials and reporting can be prepared for your agency’s presentation when agreed. We set out where Kea is visible, who speaks to the client and who contacts analysts before any work starts.
Will Kea approach our client directly?
Only through the contact and approval route we agree. If direct specialist participation would improve the work, we discuss it with you first.
Do we need a research subscription?
That depends on the proposed activity and the firms involved. Kea’s fee, research subscriptions, reprints and other third-party costs are identified separately in the scope. Paying for access does not buy an analyst’s opinion or a place in research.
Can we start with one client or a 90-day project?
Yes, where the objective and work can be defined responsibly. We check category fit, conflicts and availability before proposing a delivery model and price.
Kea in practice
Specialist AR since 2010.
Kea has supported more than 100 technology companies. Our published work shows how we approach enterprise positioning, analyst engagement and research participation. Those are examples of our delivery, not claims that every engagement used an agency partnership.
A useful first conversation
Tell us what the client needs. We will tell you where Kea fits.
The technology category, target markets, intended timing and desired outcome are enough to begin. Share the client name confidentially when ready so we can check conflicts. We will then discuss capacity, a sensible scope and how the agency relationship should work.
